Simba was a owner surrender to ASPCA, came to GRASS for 2 weeks and was adopted by the founders of Grass. Unfortunately a Tumor on his spleen presented itself just 5 days after adoption and Simba has passed onto the rainbow bridge. However for those 5 days he was loved, given a home, and a brother and a sister who all loved him kissed and gave him his space.

Gabe is a Yellow Labrador/Redbone Hound mix with distinctive ears and a gorgeous red-tinged coat. A rescue from a county shelter this big goofy boy loves to give kisses and have his ears scratched. He enjoys his roommates and gets so excited when volunteers show at the sanctuary he dances around and revels in the attention that everyone he meets is eager to bestow upon him.
Red Red was a owner surrender from Louisiana, that the founders just fell in love with he loved his car rides, his food, his walks, he was loved dearly and is missed every day.
Training the success of are future Veterinarians Dr Nicole Brown. Has brought out over 14 vet students from her class to volunteer and train on everything from bathing,drawing blood,giving shots,shaving, medical charting. And of course playing and loving on all the seniors here at GRASS.
Our beautiful and sweet Gracie! Update June 2015 Gracie Sue found a furever home and was adopted.
